Operations Dashboard
An internal tool that replaced scattered spreadsheets and communication threads with a single real-time view. Scheduling, tasks, and key metrics — consolidated into role-based views so each team member sees what's relevant to their function.
The Problem
Operations data was distributed across spreadsheets, messaging threads, and email. No single source of current state existed. Decision-making was delayed because assembling the relevant information required checking multiple disconnected tools.
The Solution
Mapped the team's operational data flows and identified what information each role needed. Consolidated into a single dashboard with role-based views, priority-based sorting, and real-time updates. Designed so the most relevant information surfaces first without manual searching.
The Result
Reduced time spent assembling status information. Team leads gained a current view of operations without interrupting others or switching between tools. Response time to operational issues improved with centralized visibility.
Architecture
Event-driven updates via Supabase Realtime. Row-level security for role-based data access. Optimistic UI pattern for responsive interactions. Deployed with automated CI/CD.
